The nature of what we publish

Everything on this website is factual information. We publish the terms, rates, fees and features that product providers themselves publish, together with arithmetic performed on those published terms using assumptions that we state.

Nothing on this website is intended to be, and nothing on it should be understood as:

We have not considered, and cannot consider, your objectives, financial situation or needs. Before acting on any information on this website you should consider whether it is appropriate for you having regard to your own circumstances, obtain and read the provider's own disclosure documents, and consider seeking advice from a person licensed to provide it.

Figures, estimates and assumptions

Any dollar figure, saving, cost, gap or projection shown on this website is an estimate produced by arithmetic on published data using the assumptions stated alongside it. It is not a quote, an approval, a pre-approval, or a representation that any product is available to you or that you would qualify for it.

Estimates necessarily exclude matters we cannot know, including your credit history, security position, loan-to-value ratio, lender policy, eligibility criteria, break costs, government charges, and any fee or feature not published by the provider. Your actual position will differ.

Comparison rates

Where we display a comparison rate for a regulated credit product, that rate is calculated on the statutory basis and is accompanied by the prescribed warning, in equal prominence to the rate:

Costs such as redraw fees or early repayment fees, and cost savings such as fee waivers, are not included in the comparison rate but may influence the cost of the loan.

Source and currency of data

Product information is sourced principally from data that providers publish under the Consumer Data Right, together with publicly available provider material. We refresh it daily and state on each page when it was last read. Despite this, information may be incomplete, delayed, superseded or incorrect, including because a provider's own published data is incomplete, delayed or incorrect.

Our coverage is not exhaustive. Some providers and some products are not included. We publish what we cover and what we do not at /our-data and /data-health.

You must confirm before acting

You should confirm every rate, fee, feature and eligibility requirement directly with the provider before applying for, acquiring or varying any product. Do not rely on this website as the sole basis for any financial decision.

How we are paid, and ranking

We may receive a commission or fee if you take up certain products after leaving this website through a link on it. Where that is so, we disclose it on the product itself.
